What you'll get to do
Green Card Program Management
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Activities: Support recruitment steps required for the PERM Labor Certification process by posting open positions across required sourcing channels, monitoring and reviewing applicant activity, and coordinating candidate interviews — ensuring each step is conducted and documented in full compliance with DOL requirements.
- Applicant Review & Documentation: Carefully evaluate resumes and applicant records against defined job requirements as part of the PERM recruitment process, and maintain thorough records to support required labor market test documentation.
- Job Description Alignment: Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions that meet Department of Labor (DOL) standards.
- Audit Files: Build and maintain files to ensure the organization is always audit-ready.
Tracking & Reporting
- Monthly Status Reports: Create, format, and distribute comprehensive monthly reports tracking each employee's progress through the Green Card pipeline with precision and clarity.
- Data Integrity: Maintain internal tracking systems with up-to-date case milestones and expiration dates, ensuring accuracy at every stage.
Strategy & Risk Management
- Contingency Planning: Collaborate with Human Resources and Global Mobility teams to develop backup strategies for employees facing visa caps or mandatory timelines.
- Policy Guidance: Translate complex Green Card processes and timelines into clear, accessible language for employees and managers at all levels.
Vendor & Financial Management
- Invoice Review: Audit monthly billing and itemized line items from external law firms to verify that legal fees align with agreed-upon corporate rates.
- Budget Tracking: Monitor total immigration project spending and promptly flag billing discrepancies or auxiliary legal costs.
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- 1+ years of experience managing corporate business immigration programs or supporting an immigration law firm or practice.
- Demonstrated experience with the PERM Labor Certification process, Form I-140, and Adjustment of Status (I-485) procedures.
