To drive the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans. The role aims to guarantee product availability, optimize inventory levels, and improve forecast accuracy by integrating demand insights, supply constraints, and business strategy into a single, aligned planning process.

The challenge

  • Challenge and validate forecast assumptions with local markets and ensure alignment with budget and strategic plans.
  • Build and maintain the Distribution Requirements Plan (DRP) and Master Production Schedule (MPS) considering demand, stock policies, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Run Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to identify and anticipate capacity constraints across production and suppliers.
  • Define and contribute to stock policies and inventory strategies to achieve service level and cost objectives.

Execution

  • Execute the operational S&OP process, consolidating demand and supply inputs to support decision-making and scenario evaluation.
  • Manage replenishment and production planning activities to ensure product availability across the network.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders (Commercial, Marketing, Finance) to ensure execution of agreed plans.

Control & Performance Management

  • Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve demand planning performance.
  • Track service levels, stock availability, and inventory evolution across the network.
  • Analyze deviations between forecast, budget, and actuals, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor production vs. plan, capacity utilization, and critical material availability.
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks, including obsolescence and excess inventory.
  • Ensure continuous communication and alignment between demand and supply planning teams.
