The cross departmental approach at such a small company enhances your skill set beyond any learning of the classroom setting. You will have the opportunity to work with almost every department. This working environment at Carolina Herrera provides the greatest opportunity for you to acquire hands-on experience in the business world. 

What you'll get to do

  • Build PowerPoint decks utilizing impactful company data & product strategies to effectively communicate product & business strategies within a well-known American luxury fashion house. 
  • Participating in market preparation: line sheet creation, gathering images/sketches 
  • Assist the design team in creating color ups for style additions during market 
  • Helping maintain and updating line sheets before and during market 
  • Assisting with bi-weekly selling reports, best seller reports, and end of season recaps. 
  • Putting together competitive research: identifying trends in sales, product categories, and markets 
  • Working alongside cross-functional partners in Design/Development, Sales, Visual Merchandising, and PR 
  • Involved in seeing a collection from conception, through market, and the final stages of production. 
  • Will learn to successfully work alongside different teams and develop strong analytical skills 
  • In store, visual updates with the Visual Snr Manger, following brand guidelines. 
  • Supporting the visual needs of both retail & wholesale 
  • Supporting Senior Visual Manger with research projects and ad hock retail and wholesale events. 
  • Must have a keen interest in visual merchandising and have their pulse on up-coming trends and styles. 

 

 

 

A reasonable estimate of the current hourly rate is $16.50/hour.
